H.E Shri Shekhar Dutt, Hon’ble Governor of Chattisgarh has inaugurated the Seminar and conferred a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD to Sri RL Gupta Chairman, IEC Group of Institutions for outstanding contribution in the field of Economic Development in the area of Education Sector and enhancing the image India.

IEC Group of Institutions Chairman Mr. R. L. Gupta has accepted this award in person. He spoke on various aspect of Economic Development of Country in general and Education Sector in particular. He emphasis the need of Quality education at all levels and mention the role of private partners in the field of Education under PPP and self financing scheme.

He informed that IEC Group is soon opening a Private University (IEC University) at Baddi, Distt Solan, HP and a Medical college and Hospital at Hamirpur, HP.

Sri Gupta thanked Organizers for acknowledging IEC’s efforts and conferring this award and he assured that IEC shall continue to endeavor and achieve best results in time to come.

Greater Noida, October 24, 2010, Infosys conducted Pool Campus in IEC College of Engineering & Technology today. Programme started from morning 8.30am successfully. More than 1000 pass out students participated in the selection process from various parts of India. Students were full of enthusiasm to give the written test for selection in Infosys. Written Test was conducted by 70 executives of Infosys. Above 100 faculty members & administrative staff of IEC provided services as required by Infosys Team.

Mr. Sudheer Kumar Mishra , North India Recruitment Head of Infosys came to take round of the examination. IEC Group of institutions Vice President Prof. A. K. Khare, Director Dr. C. L. Verma, Dean Training & Placement Rakesh Kumar & Training & Placement officer Mr. Sunil Kumar were actively involved in conducting the programe in the best tradition of IEC Group of Institutions.

IEC College of Engineering and Technology is ranked 1^st among the Top Emerging Engineering Colleges of Excellence in India by Competition Success Review.

Competition Success Review conducted a CSR-GHDRC Engineering College Survey, 2010. In this survey, colleges are rated out of the 1650 points on the four parameters; Infrastructure (Physical & Academic) (365 points), Faculty, Research, Consultancy, MDP & other programmes (505 points), Admission, Curriculum & Delivery System (310 points), Placement (Domestic & International)/ Industry Interface (470 points) respectively. IEC College of Engineering and Technology got 824.25 points out of the 1650 points.
